AMADEUS Alumni Greetings from Grand Rapids, Michigan
We are always happy to hear from students, even if they have long since graduated. Minh Le graduated in 2018 in the largest group of graduates that AMADEUS Vienna has had yet. He is currently studying at Aquinas College, Michigan.
Aquinas College, Michigan, is a fantastic Liberal Arts College situated in Michigan’s second largest city, Grand Rapids, a city rich in culture and thriving business. Aquinas College ‘provides a liberal arts education with a global perspective, emphasizes career preparation focused on leadership and service to others, and fosters a commitment to lifelong learning dedicated to the pursuit of truth and the common good.’
IB Helped me with my University Studies
Minh studied at AMADEUS for 3 years completing the IB Diploma. Minh still remembers his DP years and how the IB helped him achieve his aspirations.
‘I recognize that the 3 years studying IB have helped me on managing time well and being open-minded in learning. It was not easy, but I took my years at AMADEUS as a motivation to pursue my future goals’.
Minh has been studying hard for the past four years majoring in Art and minoring in Marketing. Minh is about to graduate with his Bachelor of Arts. He hopes to pursue his future goal of either becoming an Art Director or a Creative Director. During his college times, Minh has also had the opportunity to take part in an internship for four months, which as he describes it, ‘was one of the best things that happened to me.’ We always encourage students to look for internship possibilities as they are gateways to experience and future jobs. Minh was interning at TBWA and which helped him focus his goals in art, digital art and graphic design. Minh was always a very artistic student as shown by his photography skills in his landscape photo featured.
Even that it has been some years since Minh has been with us, he still remembers the friends that he made and the good times he had at AMADEUS. I remember Minh as an enthusiastic language learner who was able to graduate with a bi-lingual degree, something that has definitely helped him in studying in America.
We wish Minh every success and can’t wait to see what art work he produces in the future.
