Career Counselling

At AMADEUS Vienna, we strive to have the best academic support for our Grade 12s, this includes 1-1 consultations about their university applications and preparation. We know how important this next step in life can be and we provide quality help and advice for students and parents as they make decisions about future higher education.

Beginning with the Real Game in Grade 9, our academic and Music and the Arts Academy Staff guide students toward understanding their strengths and passions and how they best align with a future career.

Each student is assisted in balancing the IB Diploma with college preparation, including standardised testing (ACT and SAT), developing a powerful set of application essays, and managing the admissions deadlines and processes during a busy Diploma term.

Students seeking career invocation, including a music conservatory or other vocational training, can take advantage of skills assessments, mock university performance-based entrance auditions, and finding programs around the world. We bring in world-renowned musicians to help create networks for our students.

Throughout Grade 12, students work on university applications in their PSHE classes and the Careers Counsellor is available anytime for meetings with students and parents to provide guidance and assistance, no matter where students apply.

We have had an excellent record of university acceptance rates and continue to make sure that each student finds a pathway that is right for them.
