At AV we believe it is important to stay in contact with our Alumni and follow their educational and career paths as they develop. This week we share a story from Mr Apollo who graduated from AV in 2018 and is now studying a BA in Fashion Design.
This story brings a practical example from the classroom on how we teach our students to set goals, to plan, and to put those plans into action. Read about the challenge and the students' great outcome and experience.

We are thankful to have an engaged parent community who contributes to new knowledge and professional know-how. Read about last week's inspiring guest lectures in Biology and Entrepreneurship by two of our AV parents.

At AMADEUS Vienna we believe it is important to stay in contact with our Alumni and follow their educational and career paths as they develop. This week we share a story from Ms Ghaydaa Al Brashdi who is now studying BA Interior Architecture and Design.
“(…) Music helps me to relax, at the school there is really everything for music. I can study at any time in the studio, it’s easy to find a partner or an accompanist, all of them are constantly grouped together and ensembles.”
“As for IB program, I like the fact that there are both compulsory subjects and electives that you choose yourself: this is the best way to prepare for the university – and you know the basic disciplines. Also, you can prepare necessary subjects for you. The hardest thing is, perhaps, mathematics: I have a more humanitarian mindset, so classmates often explain something to me, do homework together … But the teachers have no complaints: they are more than attentive, they constantly ask what explaine once more, you can take an individual lesson or consultation.”
“My daughter attends this school and loves it. Moving to a new city can be so hard for kids, but when we moved to Vienna last year, the welcoming and caring attitude of the staff at Amadeus made her (and us) feel at home. The campus is beautiful and the school has a nice vibe. Most importantly, the school seems to be very focused on attracting top talent for its teaching staff, and we have been tremendously impressed with the teachers our daughter had last year in the second grade and now again this year in the third grade – from home room to PE to music to art – they have all been great. Finally, I love that the school began including a “mindfulness” component to the weekly schedule in the primary school, underscoring the school’s commitment to nurturing the whole child.” – Kyra Busby (Google Review, 2019)
“My son attends Amadeus and cannot rate it higher. The school has great facilities, passionate teachers and an excellent extra-curricular program. Whenever I visit the school the staff are welcoming and it’s clear to see that the students are engaged. GREAT SCHOOL!”
“One of few IB schools in Vienna, which also offers Regio-inspired learning in the pre-first grade year. It is a young school, has a friendly, family-like community and a beautiful campus. Kids who are happy, learn; and the school does a good job of delivering on this point. Also, the school is very inclusive and offers a good choice of after school activities.”
