Admissions Procedure
AMADEUS International School Vienna welcomes applications from students aged three to 18 regardless of gender, ethnicity, race, religion or physical abilities. We accept applications based on the following Admissions Procedure.
Our Admissions Procedure consists of three overall steps which are further specified below.
For successful admission, parents or guardians are required to fill out the online application form as well as submit all the necessary documents. Guidelines and a list of the required documentation can be found in Step 1 below.
The admissions procedure may also include an assessment of the prospective student’s language abilities as well as an interview with the Head of Section.

Enrolment
Step 1: Application
i. Online application through OpenApply
ii. Submit all required documentation
iii. Submit the € 385 Application Fee payment
NOTE
If there is no space available in the appropriate class, parents may submit their application and pay an Application Fee to hold a place on the waiting list. The Application Fee is non-refundable.
Step 2: Assessment
Primary School
i. (Optional) Assessment Day (Trial Day). Applicant will be observed in core subjects and social development
ii. Assessment Testing in English
iii. (Skype) Interview with Head of Primary School. For younger applicants (ages 3-7), parents are required to join the interview
Secondary School
i. (Optional) Assessment Day/Trial Day or (if applicable) Trial Stay for min. 1 night in Boarding
ii. Assessment Testing in English.
iii. (Skype) Interview with relevant Head of Section
Step 3: Enrolment
Enrolment is completed after receiving the countersigned school contract and confirmation of the Enrolment fee payment. We will be holding a place for your child.
NOTE
Please keep in mind that boarding applicants who require a residence permit to study in Austria should apply at least four months prior to their anticipated start date. AMADEUS Vienna cannot influence the time it takes for a student to receive his/her residence permit as it is processed and issued through the Austrian immigration authorities.
