Music Programmes at AMADEUS Music and Arts Academy
We offer music lessons in many different instruments at three different levels: Foundation, Advanced, and Professional. Read more below.

The Professional Music Programme
The Foundation Music Programme is designed to give a basic exposure to the artistic form, and gives students one-on-one training with a professional in their area of expertise. They may also have studio recitals and performance or gallery opportunities appropriate for their level.
The duration of this programme is 1 – 2 years dependent on the student’s progress. Hereafter, the student will move up to the Advanced Programme.
The Foundations lessons are either 40 minutes or 60 minutes, based on preference and/or skill level. Note that Foundation 2 is only for beginners.
The Advanced Music Programme is for students who already have experience and/or who would like to hone their talents at a higher level.
AMAA will evaluate the student upon arrival and periodically over the course of his/her studies to select the appropriate instructor according to the student’s talents, needs, and aspirations, and in order to monitor the student’s progress. Students taking the Advanced Programme will partake in studio recitals and have performance or gallery opportunities appropriate for their level. These students may also have the chance to observe masterclasses.
Ear and voice training, music theory, and chamber music lessons are available depending on the student’s needs.
The Professional Music Programme is designed for students who intend to pursue their artistic form of choice at a professional/career level.
Students must audition upon arrival to enter the Professional Programme. They will be assessed regularly over the course of their studies at AMADEUS Vienna.
Students following the Professional Programme will partake in studio recitals and have performance/gallery opportunities in addition to the chance to participate in masterclasses.

Note: The Music Programmes include a total of 30 lessons in the 2025/26 academic year.
