AMADEUS in Newsweek’s Noteworthy Schools of 2019
We are honoured to be featured in this article in the popular American news magazine Newsweek on the importance of an IB education in 2019. As a fully authorized International Baccalaureate Continuum School, AMADEUS Vienna follows the IB’s rigorous internationally recognized programmes for Grades 1 – 12 (PYP, MYP, and DP).
By creating an innovative and positive learning environment, the school engages students in inquiry-based learning that addresses real-life challenges and cultivates critical-thinking, problem-solving, and presentation skills. In addition, the co-curricular programme offers additional opportunities for learning, personal growth, and reflection through real-world experiences in areas such as the arts, STEM, and the study of languages.
“…the International Baccalaureate (IB) education inspires young people to become lifelong learners – fostering open and enlightened minds through four programmes of education for all primary and secondary students, aged 3-19. The IB learner profile describes a broad range of human capacities and responsibilities that go beyond academic success – developing internationally minded people who recognize their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet and help to create a better and more peaceful world.”
