AMADEUS Vienna Students Perform at the Austrian Foreign Ministry
AMADEUS Vienna visits the Minister of Foreign Affairs
Students of AMADEUS International School Vienna (AV) performed for Ambassador Dr Johannes Peterlik at a reception in the magnificent rooms of the Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs.
Guests of the Foreign Ministry were entertained by piano, flute and cello performances accompanied by wonderful singing on Monday 24 June. “The Magic Flute Overture” by W.A. Mozart, “Trolltog” by Edvard Grieg and Badinage by J.S. Bach were a few of the pieces on the programme.
International Baccalaureate School with a Focus on Music and the Arts
Dr. Wilson Goh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the school, highlighted the outstanding qualities of the Amadeus International School Vienna. Not only is AV an International Baccalaureate school, it also offers a music and arts focus. “This makes the AMADEUS International School Vienna a valuable addition to the circle of international schools for Vienna, the city of music and the arts,” said Goh.

AMADEUS Vienna sees itself as a showpiece project of international private schools. Currently, 270 students from 53 different countries attend this outstanding school. Amadeus International School graduates have gone on to study at prestigious Anglo-American universities such as, McGill University in Montreal, Canada, Washington University, and Kings College, London as well as at local universities, such as the Music and Art Private University of the City of Vienna, the University of Music and Performing Arts and the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
