ACES Conference
The Association for Central European Schools (ACES) had its annual conference on Monday, October 7th, 2019. This is an excellent opportunity for our Section Heads and IB Coordinators to work together with other IB schools in our surrounding area.
AV Secondary Students Give Back
Last Friday was a busy day at AV for our MYP Service as Action and DP CAS students.While we had students from different grades help getting everything ready for the AV Mile, we also had two other major events happening on that day.

Last Friday (27 September) Amadeus International School, Vienna held the third edition of the AV Mile on our beautiful campus here in the 18th district.
The problem solvers of the future and the magic of play
As adults, when we are faced with a new problem, what do we do in order to find a solution? We try to look at the problem from every angle; we study it, research it, make predictions about it, create hypotheses, discuss it with others, experiment, reflect, try different approaches – we ‘play around’ with it until we find a solution.

Dr. Wilson Goh, Chairman of the Board of the Trustees and Ms Karen Goh, Board Appointed Director of AMAA have displayed their beautiful Italian Bizzi Harpsichord from their Family Instrument Collection at AMADEUS International School Vienna in the Recital Hall in House 3.
AV runs at Sportfreunde Charity Run
Not even the pouring rain could dampen the spirits at last Saturday’s Sportfreunde Charity Run at Marswiese! Parents, students and staff from AV attended the event to either volunteer, take part or cheer on all the runners.
